A protected RPC sends your transaction straight to block builders instead of gossiping it to the public mempool. On BNB Chain the question that matters is which builders it reaches, because a handful of them build almost every block.
Who builds BNB Chain's blocks
By one 2026 study of BSC blocks (arXiv 2602.15395), 48Club built about 56.7 % of them and BlockRazor about 39.8 %, with JetBldr, bloXroute, NodeReal and Blocksmith sharing the rest. An endpoint that reaches 48Club and BlockRazor covers roughly 96 % of blocks.

A dash means we do not know of a rebate program for that endpoint, not that one cannot exist. Our own 0.86 % includes about two minutes of downtime we caused while deploying on 23 September.
PancakeSwap's MEV Guard, built with 48Club, sends through 48Club and bloXroute's private RPC, and is available inside the PancakeSwap interface. BNB Chain's documentation also lists wallets with MEV protection built in, including Trust Wallet, Binance Wallet, OKX Wallet, TokenPocket and SafePal.
What protection does and does not do
- It stops sandwiches, which need your pending transaction to be visible. On BNB Chain these have become rare in any case: our own measurement found essentially none against users over 20 hours.
- It does not stop backruns. The builder that includes your transaction can still trade behind it, and on BNB Chain the builders' own contracts do — about 97 % of what swaps leaked in our first reading.
- A rebate returns part of a backrun only when that endpoint's own backrun lands. Ask any rebate RPC what share of the value behind your swaps it actually captured, not what share it promises.
- Coverage matters more than speed. Every endpoint above answers in milliseconds; what decides inclusion is whether your transaction reached the builder of the next block.
